Investment in programs encouraging an entrepreneurial spirit among youth in francophone schools

The provincial government is contributing $50,000 to the non-profit organization Place aux compétences (PAC) in support of different programs contributing to youth and community engagement.

The Linguistic and Cultural Development Policy

LCDPThe provincial government adopted the Linguistic and Cultural Development Policy – A Societal Project for the French Education System. The policy arises from the recommendations of the report of the Commission on Francophone Schools. The commission's action group, different organizations and key partners of the education system, worked to develop the policy and will be responsible for its implementation.

Government's Response to Strengthening Inclusion, Strengthening Schools

Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Jody Carr released a Year 1 action plan in response to Strengthening Inclusion, Strengthening Schools, a report prepared by two experts in inclusive education, Gordon Porter and Angela Aucoin.
