Premier's Awards of Excellence in Education (Anglophone Sector)

The Premier's Awards of Excellence in Education recognize and celebrate individuals or groups who have made a significant contribution to education in the province's Anglophone public school system.

The annual awards program is designed to:

• recognize and honour individuals or groups of individuals who help to make the education system in New Brunswick the best in the country.
• demonstrate the high calibre of educational leadership and support in our schools and school system.
• enhance the image of education in general.
• encourage creative, innovative, renewed, and effective educational practices and supports.
• educate the general public about excellence in the education system and encourage members of the community to participate in school life.

The Premier's Awards of Excellence in Education comprises the following categories:

• District Awards: each school district will select an individual or group who has made a significant contribution to education in their area
• Numeracy, Literacy and Science
• Developing a Passion for Learning
• Inclusion
• Community Engagement and Partnerships
• Ensure School Readiness
• International Engagement
• Lifetime Achievement
