Minister's MessageOn behalf of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development I would like to invite all parents to review the 2010-2011 Reports on Achievement. These reports provide an overall look at the results of each school, compared to provincial achievement targets. The results have been shared with District Education Councils and Parent School Support Committees. During my first year as Minister I have witnessed the devotion of teachers, support staff, districts, parents and communities to the quality education of our students. I have the utmost confidence in the ability of all educational staff to ensure the safe and healthy learning environment of our children. I encourage all parents to view these reports as an opportunity to learn about your school’s successes and challenges. These results also provide parents the chance to become involved in and support your child’s learning and I encourage you to speak to your child’s teacher about the results. The education of New Brunswick students is everyone’s responsibility. By working together we can provide quality education and experience for our students. New Brunswick’s future will be shaped by the success of today’s students.
