The Province of New Brunswick banned certain uses of commercial grade
pesticide products that contain the chemical 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic
acid (2,4-D) and that are registered with the
Pest Management Regulatory Agency of Health Canada as commercial class products.
Banned Uses
The use of commercial grade pesticide
products containing 2,4-D for lawn care purposes is prohibited, other
than for the maintenance of commercial golf courses by IPM accredited organizations.
The banned list noted below should only be used as a guide. When determining
if a product is to be included in the ban, the information outlined above
will be used to make this decision.
