Fredericton Police Force pilots job sharing program to attract and retain workers

Are two heads really better than one? Last fall, the Fredericton Police Force decided it would look into this by introducing a pilot job sharing program.

“The program was proposed as an initiative from one of our members,” says Bobbi Simmons, corporal in charge of training and media.

Before the program even took place, it was essential that both the police force and the union supported the initiative, and both agreed to explore it further.
