The Blood/Marrow Transplant (BMT) Support Group of Saint John is a group of people who have undergone, or are in the process of undergoing a blood/marrow transplant and their families or caregivers. The main focus is to provide information and support to those facing a blood/marrow transplant. We also provide one-on-one or telephone contact in English or French when requested.

The Club offers recreational and social programming to youth 2-17 years of age during the day and evenings. A daycare for 2-5 years of age is available five days a week as well as an after-school program for 5-12 year olds. The facilities of the Club are accessible.

The Brain Injury Association of New Brunswick is a charitable organization incorporated in 1987 by a group of volunteers who were concerned about the rising population of traumatic brain injured individuals in the province of New Brunswick. The Association is committed to assist persons with a brain injury and their family members to achieve the best quality of life possible following this type of injury. Volunteer members of B.I.A.N.B. are available to visit schools, businesses, etc., to make presentations, conduct workshops or to assist those who might wish to form support groups in their own area.

This is an inclusive, service-oriented company, committed to providing the best possible service to all Fredericton area passengers with mobility impairments. Their state-of-the-art, dual entry taxi van specializes in comfortable, clean transportation for seniors and persons with disabilities, and safely accommodates wheelchair users and semi-ambulatory scooter users. The retro-fitted van is equipped with: rear and side entry ramps, tie downs, seat belts, low steps, first aid kit and fire extinguisher.

Services the city of Fredericton including Oromocto, Douglas, New Maryland, Marysville and surrounding area. Clientele include the Fredericton International Airport, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, hotels, schools, nursing homes, private senior residences, disability organizations and people with mobility impairments. 24 hours / 7 days per week availability. Reservations upon request. It is recommended that clients pre-book their preferred pick-up dates and times.

BUILT’s mandate is to support persons who have low self-esteem, low self-confidence, experienced depression, anxiety disorders, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, or other mental health issues, to achieve their goals in life.

Recognized by the Canadian Council of Learning as a national leader in working with persons with mental health issues/disabilities, BUILT Network offers an 8-week Skills Development Program which includes Personal Development, Communication/Customer Services, Personal Sales, Computer Fundamentals, MS Office and Professional Development.  Working in smaller groups, the program provides the ability of more one-one-one time, providing participants with the level of attention they need to succeed, while continuing to identify and overcome barriers to employment.

Working with others, who are in similar circumstances, allows participants the opportunity to feel comfortable and to work within a supportive team approach.  BUILT is an employment focused program and provides participants with a  solid foundation for future employment opportunities.  Services available in English and French.
