Provides opportunities designed to help girls and young women become responsible citizens able to give leadership and service to the community, whether local, national or global. Services are offered to most children with disabilities, according to local resources. Adult volunteers are also welcomed.

The Greater Moncton Down Syndrome Society Inc. began supporting and providing services to families living within the Greater Moncton area in June 2001. We offer to families: educators, medical professionals, up to date information about Down syndrome and provide resources pertaining to Down syndrome. National Down Syndrome Awareness Week is November 1-7. Membership for families is free. We offer an information and hospital packet upon visiting a new family in hospital.

The Greater Saint John Fibromyalgia Group offers an information packet on both Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. We offer information and support by phone and meet socially twice a year. We stress self-management and explore alternative therapies. Services available in English.
