NB Cancer Care Facilities
There are two tertiary level cancer centres in NB which provide radiation therapy, in Moncton at the Dr. Leon Richard Oncology Centre and in Saint John at the Atlantic Health Sciences Cancer Center.
Both centres offer specialized and comprehensive cancer services for the province. Two Regional Health Authorities, Region 1 SE (South East Regional Health Authority) and Region 3 (River Valley Health), also play key roles for cancer services in the province. In addition, RHA 4, RHA 5 (Restigouche), RHA 6 (ACADIE-Bathurst) and RHA 7 (Miramichi) provides cancer chemotherapy services, as well as various levels of other cancer services.
