Changes have been made to the way pathology services are delivered in New Brunswick’s health-care system due to the Inquiry into Pathology Services at the
Miramichi Regional Hospital. 

The Department of Health, working in concert with key stakeholders, has already implemented many of the 52 recommen-
dations put forward by the Commission. 

“This Government has heard the recommendations of the Creaghan inquiry loudly and clearly and has acted immediately. The inquiry that began in Miramichi has resulted in improvements to our health-care system provincewide.”
