Baby-Friendly Initiative

New Brunswick promotes, supports, and protects breastfeeding. The province has adopted the Baby-Friendly Initiative. All provincial hospitals, community health centres, and public health services working with mothers, babies and families are taking steps to achieve the “Baby-Friendly” designation.
