Mental Health Services is committed to the least restrictive, most appropriate care for people with mental disorders.

Mental Health Services oversees the operation of 13 Community Mental Health Centres, and administers purchase-of-service contracts with regional hospital corporations for eight psychiatric units, one child and adolescent psychiatric unit and two institutions - the Restigouche Hospital Centre in Campbellton and Centracare in Saint John.

Mental Health Services ensures the delivery system is co-ordinated, effective, and consistent with the mental health policy framweork for the province.
