Ordering Publications
The department delivers a variety of geoscience maps, reports, journal
articles, industry reports, and other products through its regional offices
(Bathurst and Sussex) and head office (Fredericton).
Many of these documents are available for download from this web site,
however, if you wish to make an order, please contact
the office of your choice.
Purchasing Costs
Black and white maps are available for $3.00 each while coloured maps
cost $10.00 each. Costs for purchasing reports vary, therefore, please
contact geoscience@gnb.ca or call
506-453-2206 for details.
Taxation
All documents are taxed at 13% (HST) except reports which are taxed at
5% (GST). Please note that HST applies to orders received from Nova
Scotia, Newfoundland, and from within New Brunswick. Orders from outside
these areas will be subject to 5% GST only.
How to pay
Payment can be done by:
- Visa or Mastercard -please ensure you provide your
card number, card expiry date, and your telephone number when
placing orders
- Cheque or money order made payable to the Minister of
Finance
- Cash (available for walk in clients)

Geological Surveys of Canada (GSC) Publications
The department has also available many GSC publications. Each GSC Report
is accompanied by a code that indicates where it can be purchased. Maps
are available from both the GSC and the Minerals and Petroleum
Information Services section (unless otherwise indicated). The following
