    • Provincial sales tax - The entire 14 percent sales tax (or value-added tax (VAT)) on business inputs is a 100% refundable tax credit for most businesses
    • Federal investment tax credit - Deducted from federal tax payable, this credit is 10% of net investment in equipment and building in manufacturing, processing, mining, oil and gas, logging, farming and fishing
    • Provincial R&D tax credit - The tax credit and write-offs for R&D costs (with the exception of buildings claimed for R&D) will be 15% of R&D expenditures
    • Federal R&D Incentives - The tax credit and write-offs for R&D costs (with the exception of buildings claimed for R&D) will be 20% of R&D expenditures
