Public Information for Projects

Route 11 Upgrading – Shediac to Richibucto (Please note this alignment has been changed)

The purpose of the proposed undertaking is to upgrade the current Route 11 highway between Shediac and Richibucto in Northumberland County. The new lanes will be west of the existing roadway and will be designed to meet present-day standards to improve safety. The project is approximately 56 km in length.

The Department of Transportation will be registering the project with the Department of Environment in accordance with Section 5(1) and Schedule “A” of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation.
