  • 3.2 million cubic metres of common material excavated
  • 246,000 cubic metres of unclassified excavation
  • 2.1 million cubic metres of solid rock excavated
  • 554,000 tonnes of imported material
  • 1.9 million tonnes of crushed material
  • 248,000 tonnes of asphalt
  • 31 km of guide rail
  • 1.5 million square metres of topsoil placed
  • 2 million square metres of land hydroseeded
  • 446 hectares of land of cleared
  • 16,400 cubic metres of concrete required for structures
  • 1.5 million kilograms of rebar required for structures
  • 6 km of piles required for structures
  • 10,700 square metres of waterproofing on structures. That’s enough waterproofing for about 95 houses!
