New Brunswick Heritage Fairs 2012

New Brunswick's Heritage Fair Program is part of a national education project developed to increase awareness and interest in Canadian history. In New Brunswick, the program is an initiative of the Heritage Branch in the Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport. Support is also provided from the Department of Education, Canada's Historic Places Initiative, the New Brunswick Museum, New Brunswick's Department of Intergovernmental Affairs, the Council of Archives New Brunswick, the New Brunswick Sports Branch, the New Brunswick Labour History Project, the New Brunswick Aboriginal Affairs Secretariat, Canada's National History Society, and the Margaret and Wallace McCain Foundation.

Is There Funding ?

Yes, grants are provided through Heritage Branch in the department of Wellness, Culture and Sport to cover related costs such as educational supplies, student prizes, and travel to Regional Heritage Fair sites.

Become involved by returning the attached Participation (doc version/ PDF version) to Heritage Branch by December 1.
