Heritage groups, museums, communities, schools, access centres and libraries in New Brunswick will celebrate the province's diverse heritage by hosting special activities during Heritage Week 2010, which runs from Feb. 8-15.
"In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the global village concept, the theme of Heritage Week 2010 is "Global Village - village planétaire," Wellness, Culture and Sport Minister Hédard Albert announced today. "The theme will give New Brunswickers an opportunity to reflect on their shared experience of thousands of years of history, and to place that experience within a larger global context."
