To assist an organizations efforts to become self-sufficient, a financial contribution may be available for:
Administration
- General administrative costs such as telephone, photocopying, translation, postage, etc.
- Travel assistance in the region or attending provincial planning sessions and AGM's.
Generally, organizations should keep administrative costs to a maximum of 10% of the total budget for each project.
"Self help" should be built into all project submissions. Government cannot be expected to totally fund every project, and applicants should be prepared to make individual or collective contributions.
Project goals and objectives must be consistent with Branch priorities.
Applications should be submitted prior to the event / project using form this form
Grant recipients must submit the Branch report form to their regional consultant at the conclusion of the project. Copies of any associated press releases / clippings should accompany the report form.
