The Toponymy Services section manages toponymic resources and administers matters pertaining to the naming of places and geographic features within the province.
Toponymy refers to the official names of geographic features and places in New Brunswick.
New Brunswick Toponymy Steering Committee
The Toponymy Steering Committee is a public mechanism that allows individuals and members of interested communities to participate in the identification and establishment of place names throughout New Brunswick.
