2008-2009 Budget The 2008-2009 Budget was tabled in the New Brunswick Legislature by Victor Boudreau, Minister of Finance on March 18, 2008. Click on the following links for more information: Budget Speech News release The New Brunswick Economy Main Estimates 2008-2009 Capital Budget Finance Minister Victor Boudreau unveiled the 2008-2009 Capital Budget on December 11, 2007. The capital budget for 2008-2009 will total $486 million. Excluding the one-time Trans-Canada Highway payment made in 2007-2008, the 2008-2009 capital budget is the largest in New Brunswick history. The focus of the 2008-2009 capital budget is on the rehabilitation of the province’s existing roads, bridges and highway infrastructure. The Province will also move from the current approach of road infrastructure management to an Asset Management System (AMS).
