As part of the government’s ongoing commitment to improving services to its citizens, the Department of Finance in collaboration with Service New Brunswick has developed an online application form for obtaining the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) licence and decals. This will enable IFTA carriers to submit their application and pay the applicable fee electronically.

New applicants or New Brunswick IFTA carriers applying for renewal of licences or for additional decals may access the online application from the following location:

• SNB’s Web site at https://www.pxw1.snb.ca/snb7001/e/2000/2006e.asp under the “Trucking & Transport” hyperlink.

The fee for IFTA decals is $5.00 per set, payable by MasterCard or VISA. Please be advised that payment with a credit card is restricted to online submissions.

The information submitted online will be processed by the Revenue and Taxation Division of the Department of Finance. IFTA licences and decals will be mailed to applicants upon approval of their licence application.

Applicants not wishing to apply electronically will continue to have the option of printing the application form by clicking "here" and filing it by mail. The fee for IFTA decals is $5.00 per set, payable by cheque or money order to the Minister of Finance.
