Purchasing
Under the Public Purchasing Act and Regulations, the Minister of Supply and
Services through the Central Purchasing Branch is responsible for the
procurement of equipment, materials, supplies and services for all government departments. The Act and Regulations are consistent with the terms and
conditions of the applicable procurement agreements.
The Province of New
Brunswick through the Central Purchasing Branch buys in the vicinity of
$350 million worth of goods and services each year.
