Evaluation ToolsA variety of data collection tools are being developed during the evaluation of the Rehabilitation Services Plan. A short description of each tool developed to date is listed below: Client Satisfaction Survey This self administered survey is designed primarily to
measure: 1- the extent to which clients are satisfied with the delivery
of rehabilitation services and 2 - the extent to which rehabilitation
services are client centered. The survey was administered to a random
sample of clients discharged from outpatient hospital departments, the
provincial home care program and the provincial tertiary centre. Referral Source Survey Part of the evaluation was designed to assess referral
sources' understanding and satisfaction with the referral process for
rehabilitation services in New Brunswick. A self- administered Referral
Source Survey was developed to capture this information from physicians,
public health nurses, nursing home administrators, teachers, support service
coordinators, school social workers and school psychologists. Therapeutic and EMP Manager Survey - 1 and 2 A series of self- administered surveys were designed to
collect information about the implementation and impact of selected RSP
strategies from regional managers of rehabilitation services in hospital
outpatient departments and the provincial home care program (Extra-Mural
Program). Service Provider SurveyThe Service Provider Survey was distributed to all audiologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists employed in the public service in 1999. The survey was designed to obtain feedback on the impact of the RSP strategies implemented as part of the Rehabilitation Services Plan. Click here to download a copy of the survey. |
