Abstract: A trial to evaluate the effect of nitrogen on seed yield of Barrage perennial ryegrass was conducted in Drummond, NB (Victoria county) in 1998. Seed yield increase with nitrogen rate but without any significant difference between the three highest treatment; 100, 120 and 140 kg N/ha. Seed germination decreased with the increasing nitrogen rate.
