Abstract: A timothy regional trial with 16 cultivars was established at Fredericton in 1996. Total dry matter yield (t/ha) for the 1997 harvest season ranged from 11.18 to 9.16 t/ha and from 13.38 to 10.33 t/ha for the 1998 harvest season. Data will continue to be collected from this trial for the next 1-2 years. Identical trials were also established at Charlottetown, PEI, Truro and Nappan, NS.
