Guy Bernard1

Abstract: Aphid populations were low on plants in potato fields during the 2001 season. Green peach aphid populations remained low throughout the season. The Potato aphid was the dominant species and numbers increased slightly during the month of August but remained low. Buckthorn aphid populations were low. Flea Beetles populations had been on the rise for some years but remained low in 2000 and 2001. Colorado potato beetle populations remained low as well throughout the season.
