Abstract: The New Brunswick Soil and Crop Improvement Association with funding from the Strategic Partnership Development Program in co-operation with the New Brunswick Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture conducted small grain cultivar evaluation trials in Hartland, New Brunswick in 2004. An Ottawa preliminary oat trial, consisting of 30 lines, was established on the 10th day of May, 2004. Dry matter yield values ranged from 0.95 tons/acre to 1.65 tons/acre.
