Employee Training

 •  The Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour offers programs that help employers hire more employees, train existing employees, hire undergraduates and arrange for co-op student placements. Some services are also offered for self-employment.

 •  The New Brunswick’s Network of Community Colleges (NBCC) is composed of 11 campuses, five of which are designated as francophone, and six as anglophone. Administered by the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour, NBCC provides 120 different training programs.

 •  The University of New Brunswick with its main campus in Fredericton and another in Saint John, is the oldest English-language university in Canada, and is the province’s largest university.

 •  The St. Thomas University is a small, Roman Catholic institution in Fredericton whose central liberal arts program is complemented by professional programs in education and social work.

 •  The Mount Allison University, located in the Town of Sackville, offers undergraduate programs in arts, science, commerce, fine arts and music.

 •  The Crandall University formerly known as ABU is a liberal arts and science university located in Moncton.

 •  The Université de Moncton with its main campus in Moncton, and the satellite campuses in the City of Edmundston and the Town of Shippagan, is the major French language degree granting institution in Atlantic Canada. It has the only common law program in the world that is offered entirely in the French language.

 •  The New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF), a catalyst for innovation and change in the province of New Brunswick, is an independent corporation focused on stimulating innovation as a means of improving productivity and moving the knowledge-based economy forward.
