The Image Bank has the mandate to loan photographic material for the promotion of
New Brunswick as as a vacation destination in domestic and international markets.

IMAGES MAY APPEAR IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

a) brochures not intended for sale that promote a specific area and/ or all of New Brunswick
b) audio visual, video, television (non advertising)
c) convention and trade show materials
d) government produced materials
e) advertisements that promote a New Brunswick identity and/or awareness
f) posters, calenders and postcards not intended for sale

IMAGES MAY NOT APPEAR IN MATERIALS WHICH ARE TO BE SOLD

FOR INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP PROFIT WITH THE FOLLOWING

EXCEPTIONS WHEN BENEFITS TO TOURISM ARE INDICATED:

a) newspapers
b) magazines
c) books and CD Roms (requests for images to be used in books for sale must be received in writing with a description of the tourism benefits.In some justifiable cases some images may be loaned.
 

IMAGES MAY NEVER BE USED OR APPEAR IN THE FOLLOWING.

ANY VIOLATION WILL RESULT IN A CHARGE OF $500 PER IMAGE USED:

a) all materials related to tobacco and alcohol
b) souvenirs
c) posters, calenders, postcards or placemats intended for sale
d) personal letterhead and/ or interior decoration
e) packaging or promotion of products intended for sale
f) promotion of a private property
