Joint Emergency Preparedness Program (JEPP)

This guide sets out the criteria by which projects may qualify for cost sharing under the federally funded Joint Emergency Preparedness Program (JEPP) .

At the provincial level, NB EMO in consultation with other provincial agencies, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada (PSEPC), has identified three key areas for equipment acquisition:

• Mobile Command Posts, to provide on-scene command and communications facilities;
• Tele-Communications, to provide reliable communications between responders and emergency managers (radio, fax, e-mail), and
• Emergency Operations Centres, to develop EOC facilities in support of regional arrangements.
