MONCTON (CNB) - The Government of New Brunswick is providing gaming-design company Spielo with a forgivable loan to allow it to hire 150 new employees.

"The government is committed to supporting New Brunswick's knowledge industry and, in particular, supporting companies committed to R&D and innovation," Lord said. It is becoming known as a centre where exciting new products are conceived and developed, which is the kind of growth we want to see in New Brunswick."

"We are pleased to have such a rewarding relationship with the Province of New Brunswick," Duarte said. "We are experiencing great success worldwide, and our resources are a large part of these achievements.  We are looking forward to expanding our Spielo team, as we know we can find the expertise, knowledge and experience here in New Brunswick."

The provincial government is providing Spielo with a $1.5-million forgivable loan for the creation and maintenance of up to 150 new full-time positions over the next three years.
