"I'm proud to help this New Brunswick company get access to credit in these difficult financial times," said Graham. "Imperial Manufacturing Group is a growing company with a solid reputation and a 30-year history in southeastern New Brunswick. I am confident that our assistance will ensure this company's success well into the future."

The province is providing a $3,720,000 repayable loan as working capital, and a $500,000 contribution from the Community Economic Development Trust Fund, to help the company expand its warehouse and manufacturing space, boost its productivity, and increase its efficiency in materials handling and shipping.

The company manufactures a wide range of sheet-metal products related to the heating and ventilation sectors, registers and grills, venting, flexible duct, aluminum railing, and indoor air quality products.

Company CEO Normand Caissie said that his company's success can be attributed to the creativity and skill of his employees, and is pleased that the working capital will allow him to hire more people.

"My people are innovative, imaginative and self-reliant," said Caissie. "They are the best. This assistance from the provincial government is a vote of confidence that will allow me to invest in my company and in the community that has helped us prosper since we first started making sheet-metal products in 1979."

Imperial Manufacturing Group is the largest employer in the Richibucto, serving the entire Canadian heating and ventilation market.

"Making strategic investments in local businesses is important for job maintenance and company growth," said Graham. "Our government provides the means for productivity and profitability in a challenging economic environment. Continuing to make strategic investments and cultivating partnerships such as this one today will help us achieve our goal of self-sufficiency by 2026."
