SAINT JOHN (CNB) - The province is providing DealerMine Inc. with a forgivable loan of $156,000 to create 52 jobs, Business New Brunswick Minister Victor Boudreau announced today. Boudreau was joined for the announcement by DealerMine Inc. president Robert Quirion at the company's headquarters in Saint John.

"I am proud to help a New Brunswick company increase its workforce to 130 from 78 employees," said Boudreau. "This company has been steadily expanding in New Brunswick for the past eight years, and its continued investment in our people is proof that they know New Brunswick is the place to be successful in business."

DealerMine Inc. was founded in 2001, and since then has developed a full, customer-relationship system designed to help car dealerships improve how they communicate with current and potential customers.

The company has recently begun adding new services through its on-site appointment co-ordinators in order to enhance dealership communications with customers. DealerMine Inc. has more than 200 dealerships in its North American clientele base.

"DealerMine Inc. is committed to customer satisfaction and operational excellence, and we have found a dedicated workforce of New Brunswickers who are eager to help us grow under that mandate," said Quirion. "Government's investment is a vote of confidence in our company as we continue to expand our workforce and, at the same time, provide more Canadian-based customer service for our consumers across the country."

Government's assistance will help DealerMine Inc. hire and train new employees, as well as expand into a new, larger facility in Saint John.

"New Brunswick's lower tax plan will help this company be even more successful in our province," said Boudreau. "DealerMine Inc. is poised for future growth, with a strong management team and skilled employees. Continuing to make strategic investments and cultivating partnerships such as this one today will help us achieve our goal of self-sufficiency by 2026."
