FREDERICTON (CNB) - Students attending universities in the Maritime provinces are being invited to submit an application to become a member of one of the advisory committees of the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission (MPHEC).
"There are no prerequisites to become a member," said Mireille Duguay, chief executive officer, MPHEC. "Applications are accepted from all university students in the Maritimes interested in shaping the region's post-secondary learning environment, now and for the future."
Selected members will be asked to provide input on university education, including program development and monitoring, and data and research.
Further information is available at the MPHEC website.
The MPHEC was established in 1974 to help institutions and governments improve post-secondary education in this region. The commission's 20 members are drawn from the Maritime provinces and represent higher education institutions, provincial governments and the public.
