FREDERICTON (CNB) - The Commission on Post-Secondary Education will begin its provincial consultation tour April 11 in Moncton to meet with stakeholders and the public.
"We encourage the public to come share with us what they envision for the future of the post-secondary education system in New Brunswick," commissioner Rick Miner said. "Without the public's perspective, a piece of the whole picture would be missing."
The commission will also stop in Fredericton, Woodstock, Edmundston, Campbellton, Bathurst, Shippagan, and Saint John before its final stop in Miramichi on May 2.
"Groups and individuals are invited to participate in large numbers, because post-secondary education is such an important issue for the future of the province," commissioner Jacques L'Écuyer said.
Visit the commission's website for the exact locations of the meetings and other details, or call 506-444-2082.
The Commission on Post-Secondary Education in New Brunswick is mandated to look into all aspects of post-secondary education. It is an ideal forum to discuss ways to meet the challenges in this sector.
