FREDERICTON (CNB) - New Brunswickers now have access to a tool that will make it easier to find information on the Internet: the Virtual Reference Library (VRL) set up by the New Brunswick Public Library Service (NBPLS).
The Virtual Reference Library is an organized collection of links to various Web sites selected by the staff of the public libraries for their quality and their usefulness to the citizens of our province. The site will be updated regularly by NBPLS employees.
"The New Brunswick Public Library Service is in the process of making its various products and services available on line, and the launching of this site is an important milestone in that process," Education Minister Dennis Furlong said.
The new site can be reached from the NBPLS home page at: http://www.gnb.ca/0003/NBPLS.htm.
