FREDERICTON (CNB) - New Brunswickers can now read the province's daily newspapers on line at any of the 62 public libraries throughout the province.

Under an agreement signed between the New Brunswick Public Library Service and CEDEROM-SNI, public library patrons can now use the Virtual News Library, which gives them access to full-text articles appearing the same day in L'Acadie Nouvelle, the Daily Gleaner, the Times-Transcript, the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal, and the Saint John Telegraph-Journal.

The Virtual News Library also provides access to each newspaper's archives as far back as 1998. It is just one of a growing number of online tools offered at New Brunswick's public libraries to make it easier to find quality information sources on the Internet.

A list of the online resources available at New Brunswick's public libraries is posted on the following Web site: http://www.gnb.ca/0003/nbpls.htm.
