FREDERICTON (CNB) - The following water level advisory is issued by River Watch 2010 and the Department of Public Safety's New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization on Wednesday, April 7, 2010:
Due to the greatly decreased snow mass and only light precipitation forecast over the next 48 hours, water flows and levels along the St. John River will start to decrease slowly over the forecast period.
Persons living and working along streams, tributaries and rivers are advised to continue to pay close attention to local water levels. Residents are advised to know the risks, make a plan, and prepare an emergency kit. Prepare now to help your family be safe.
