Lincoln-area resident charged with breach of a probation order (09/07/14)

NB 990

July 14, 2009

FREDERICTON (CNB) - A Lincoln-area resident is to make his first appearance in court on Aug. 10 to answer to a charge of breaching a probation order relating to his conviction under the Unsightly Premises Act.

Calvin Smallman of 8 William St., Lincoln, is scheduled to appear in Burton provincial court on that date. The Department of Environment alleges that, on June 2, Smallman failed to comply with a probation order issued by the court as the result of his conviction in February of violating the act.

Environment Minister T.J. Burke encourages all New Brunswickers to be responsible stewards of the environment and to report any infraction of environmental regulations in the province.
