SAINT JOHN (CNB) - A Saint John contracting company will make its first appearance in provincial court on Feb. 11 in relation to a charge that it violated the Petroleum Product Storage and Handling Regulation of the Clean Environment Act.
The Department of Environment alleges that, between June 4 and June 5, 2009, Master Mechanical Contractors Inc., 1 Germain St., installed a petroleum product storage system without the required site approval and environmental approval issued by the Minister.
Environment Minister Rick Miles encourages all New Brunswickers to be responsible stewards of the environment and to report any infraction of environmental regulations.
