Company charged with violating Clean Air Act (10/02/15)

MIRAMICHI (CNB) - A Miramichi company will make its first court appearance on Feb. 22 in relation to a charge that it violated the Air Quality Regulation of the Clean Air Act.

The Department of Environment alleges that, on Oct. 9, 2009, Ace Enterprises Ltd. of 309 Bridge Rd., Miramichi, failed to comply with a term or condition of its air quality approval to operate its asphalt plant.

Environment Minister Rick Miles encourages all New Brunswickers to be responsible stewards of the environment and to report any infraction of environmental regulations in the province.
