FREDERICTON (CNB) - The Department of Health, through Tele-Care, has set up a toll-free line to provide information to New Brunswickers who have questions about the H1N1 flu virus (human swine flu) and its symptoms.
For advice on self-care or when to seek further care, New Brunswickers may telephone 1-800-580-0038.
Callers can expect to receive information about the H1N1 flu virus; preventative measures to take; as well as an opportunity to speak to a Telecare Nurse if they are experiencing any flu-symptoms.
The line is available 24 / 7 to provide callers with information on self-care, immunization, treatment locations and preventative measures.
