FREDERICTON (CNB) - The following joint statement was issued today by the Government of New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Medical Society:
The Government of New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Medical Society have reached an agreement that includes both annual wage increases of 3.75 per cent annually for four years, and a two-year wage freeze.
The contract will run from April 1, 2008, to March 31, 2012. The two-year wage freeze will come into effect April 1, 2012. The same increases and wage freeze will apply to salaried physicians.
