FREDERICTON (CNB) - Service New Brunswick locations across the province will be accepting Family Support Order Services (FSOS) in-person payments as of April 1. The Department of Justice and Consumer Affairs made the announcement today.

Due to the increased numbers of sites where payments may be made, in-person payments will no longer be accepted at FSOS regional offices. Information on Service New Brunswick locations and operating hours are available online or by calling 1-888-762-8600.

Payments may be made in cash, by money order, debit, Visa, MasterCard, certified personal cheque, or business cheque made payable to the minister of finance. Uncertified personal cheques cannot be accepted. Payments may still be made by mail, through Internet, or by telephone banking.

Service New Brunswick cannot verify the status or balance of an individual account. Clients are encouraged to call toll-free 1-888-488-3767 to obtain this information.

Individuals wishing to make payments must have the appropriate file number. To verify your number, call 506-444-4131.
