PRINCE WILLIAM (CNB) - Kings Landing Historical Settlement will open for the 2010 season on Saturday, June 12.
A highlight this year will be the expansion of the Simeon Jones room at the King's Head Inn. The expansion will enable the inn to serve up to 120 people for meetings, conventions and receptions.
"We are very excited about the new season," said Alain Boisvert, executive director, Kings Landing. "We take the role of educating New Brunswickers and guests about our wonderful province to heart."
The theme during the opening weekend will be Fiddle Frolic and Fiddleheads. Author Johanna Bertin will be present from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Saturday and Sunday to sign copies of her new book, Don Messer: The Man Behind the Music.
Kings Landing is 20 minutes west of Fredericton, at Exit 253, on the Trans-Canada Highway. For more information, call 506-363-4999 or go online
