FREDERICTON (CNB) - The provincial government is soliciting requests for proposals (RFPs) to run maple sugar operations under lease on Crown land in 2008-09. A maple sugary lease allows the leasee to collect and transform sap, and to sell maple products.
The departments of Natural Resources and Supply and Services launched the RFP process today. REPs should be submitted to the Department of Supply and Services.
Additional information on obtaining a copy of the REP document, the submission deadline and dates of pending information sessions may be found at the Department of Natural Resources website.
