FREDERICTON (CNB) - The Nashwaak River bridge in Penniac, part of the Sentier NB Trail, will be closed as the Department of Natural Resources carries out repairs.
Repairs will begin Tuesday, Oct. 7, and are expected to be completed by Friday, Oct 31. The bridge will be closed during this time.
The bridge is a popular walking / bicycling trail and is located on the main snowmobile route linking Fredericton to Miramichi.
The repairs are part of the $1.2-million capital funding announcement made by the Department of Natural Resources for trail maintenance on Sept. 16.
