Sentier NB Trail repairs underway (09/09/21)

FREDERICTON (CNB) - Repairs will begin on Monday, Sept. 21, to three parts of the Sentier NB Trail between Saint-Quentin and Glencoe. Repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 30.

Three sites are under repair:

• the Five Fingers Brook Trail bridge, 10 km north of Saint-Quentin;
• the Whites Brook Trail bridge, five km north of Kegdwick; and
• the Grog Brook #3 Trail bridge north of Saint-Jean-Baptiste-de-Restigouche.

These structures, which are part of crucial links for snowmobile and ATV routes, may be closed while being repaired. The repairs are part of the Department of Natural Resources' $2.1-million capital budget for Sentier NB Trail bridge repairs in 2009-10.
