FREDERICTON (CNB) - The $1.5 million in completed renovations at the MacLaggan Hall Theatre at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) were officially unveiled here today by Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Donald Arseneault.
"MacLaggan Hall Theatre has truly undergone a transformation," said Arseneault. "The theatre and all its equipment have been completely renovated. Accessibility has been the key word. These renovations will provide an enhanced learning environment for many years to come."
The renovations included:
"MacLaggan Hall auditorium is one of UNB's most often used teaching theatres," said Anthony Secco, vice-president Fredericton (academic). "Our students had identified this as one of the priority teaching spaces that needed to be upgraded. We listened and planned a bright modern auditorium designed to enhance their learning experience."
