FREDERICTON (CNB) - For the first time, official New Brunswick Day t-shirts and caps will be available at participating Service New Brunswick Centres and NB Liquor Stores throughout the province.
The participating Service Centres are located in: Caraquet, Fredericton, Miramichi-West, Moncton, Saint John, Shediac, St. Stephen and Tracadie-Sheila. NB Liquor Stores in St. Andrews, St. Stephen, Woodstock, Edmundston, Sackville, Tracadie-Sheila, Caraquet and Shediac, and participating Irving convenience stores throughout the province are selling the t-shirts and caps. The items are also available for order online from SNB's website at www.snb.ca.
This year, the t-shirts are emblazoned with the year 2004 logo, a reflection of this year's theme: "1604-2004 Celebrate our Culture." The design depicts the origin and the roots of New Brunswick's culture. The caps and t-shirts are daisy yellow with the logo on the front.
New Brunswick Day will be celebrated this year on Monday, August 2. The official New Brunswick Day celebration, to be attended by Premier Bernard Lord, will be held in the town of Tracadie-Sheila.
